Description

Dr Jesús Molina, psychologist and Director of HHRR at EDAI presents in this Masterclass the practical implementation of the Routine Outcome Monitoring for clinical data in health and social services.

Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROM) is an assessment system that originates from the Anglo-Saxon world and essentially involves regular evaluation of outcomes between a therapist and a user (who can be an individual, a family, etc.).

This procedure has several advantages for any healthcare center (CDIAP, CSMIJ, CSMA, Day Hospital…) as it allows, according to scientific literature:

a/ Increase the user’s sense of empowerment and consequently their satisfaction.

b/ Reduce therapeutic dropout.

c/ Improve clinical outcomes.

ROM is, therefore, a co-participatory process between the professional and the user, which benefits both parties and provides continuous feedback on how therapeutic processes are progressing. This continuous evaluation allows corrective actions to be established between the user and the therapist when therapeutic processes are not achieving the expected objectives.

In this masterclass, we will practically and applicably demonstrate the ROM process that we have been implementing at EDAI for over a decade, under international supervision, for your clinical centres.
