4th EDAI International Conference

On June 5th and 6th 2025 we celebrated the much awaited 4th Edition of the EDAI International Conference at CosmoCaixa, Barcelona. This edition’s title was Neurodevelopmental Conditions in Children and Adolescents, which were explored from a multidisciplinary perspective, bridging clinical practice, research, and innovation.

A landmark event in child and adolescent mental health, the conference featured leading experts through plenary talks, parallel sessions, and workshops.
Top speakers included Boris Cyrulnik (Neurologist, University of Toulon, France), Tony Charman (King’s College London), Antonia Hamilton (University College London), Leticia Asenjo (EDAI Founder and director), Michael Lombardo (Director of LAND, Milan Institute of Technology), or Sakshi Ghai (London School of Economics).

The Institutional Opening was carried out by the Minister of Social Rights and Inclusion, Hble. Ms Mònica Martínez Bravo, who emphasized the alignment between EDAI’s mission and the Department’s commitment: connecting research, clinical practice, and public policy to move towards a fairer and more innovative system. In the opening, Leticia Asenjo, EDAI’s founder and Director, emphasized Children’s rights in today’s mental health public system, and Roser Fernández, General Director of the Catalan Hospitals Union, stressed the importance of listening to organizations in order to meet their needs and strengthen coordination between social and healthcare services.
