EDAI International Conference. Ways of Keeping the Child in Mind
The first EDAI International Conference took place on September 13 and 14, 2013, at CosmoCaixa Barcelona.
Under the title “Ways of Keeping the Child in Mind,” the presentations had a clear multidisciplinary character, with the participation of neuropediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers, among others.
There was in-depth reflection on focal interventions, prevention of language impairments, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, pediatric physiotherapy interventions, autism care, child sexual abuse, Specific Language Impairment (SLI), shared decision-making, or applications of research in clinical settings with children.
We were accompanied by renowned speakers in both the national and international spheres, such as Leticia Asenjo, Louise Emanuel, Massimo Ammaniti, Cinthia Sprenger, Michaela Linder-Lucht, Yuning Zhang, Praveetha Pathalay, Jesús Molina, Eva Brogren, Isabel Valls, Rosa Maria González, Anne Álvarez, Rafa Villanueva, Nuria Beà, Montse Torras, Gemma Garcia, Ainhoa Corbera, Marta Moreno, Rosa Royo, Victor Acosta, Neus Abrines, and Ricky Emanuel.
