Excellence in neurodevelopment: here are the winners of the 3rd Edition of the EDAI & Fundación Orange Research Awards
As part of the EDAI International Conference, the EDAI Building Wellness & Fundación Orange Research Awards were presented to recognise innovative research in the field of child and adolescent neurodevelopment.
The first prize was awarded to Zhenyuan Sun, researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience of King’s College London, for the study “Perinatal Environmental Exposures, Maternal Mental Health and Cognitive Outcomes in Very Preterm Infants born in urban London”.
The second prize went to Renzo Abregú and Covadonga Martínez Díaz-Caneja, from the Institute for Psychiatry and Mental Health Research at Hospital Gregorio Marañón (Madrid), for their project “Impact of bullying victimization on mental health of children and adolescents with Psychiatric and Neurodevelopmental Disorders”.
The awards ceremony was conducted by Montserrat Cereza, representing MasOrange. This third edition strengthens the EDAI & Fundación Orange Research Awards as a benchmark for evidence-based research and child wellbeing.
