EDAI Granada
Welcome to EDAI Granada, located in the very heart of the city centre, on Calle Gracia. This district, which brings together the neighbourhoods of Centro-Sagrario and Realejo-San Matías, is the monumental and commercial heart of the city: here the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel —resting place of the Catholic Monarchs, Joanna I of Castile and Philip I the Handsome— stand alongside the old Zacatín, the silk market of the Nasrid Kingdom, and the Realejo, which was the Jewish quarter under Arab rule (known as Garnata al-Yahud) from the 8th to the 15th century, when Muslims and Jews lived side by side for generations. Today, the spirit of its narrow streets and quiet squares still beats with neighbourhood life, local commerce and the harmonious coexistence of its residents.
EDAI brings this same sense of community and warmth to its public early childhood care service, CAIT EDAI Granada, in partnership with La Junta de Andalucía, with a multidisciplinary professional team dedicated to offering excellence to the children and families of central Granada.
