EDAI selected to participate in the Autism-Europe Congress in Krakow on the 7th, 8th and 9th October 2022
EDAI traveled to Krakow (Poland) to present a poster on Virtual Reality and Autism at the 13th Autism International Congress. The poster’s title was: “A Virtual Reality intervention to promote social communication skills for young children with ASD.” The scientific committee of the #AECongress2022 has selected our abstract to be part of the Congress poster exhibition.
Thaïs Rosal, Neuropsychologist at EDAI, and Leticia Asenjo, EDAI’s Director, presented the poster. In the study, virtual reality sessions were administered to a group of children from the CDIAP, yielding promising results. However further studies are needed to continue assessing the potential utilities of VR in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
